Abstract
Eee PC is a breakthrough in design methodology and a revolution in user experience. We call this ''Eeexperience."
The Eee PC desktop comes from the open-sourced Linux system, and is now planning to integrate open content with “Commons” ideas. Besides that, Asus is also pleased to announce the upcoming release of the Eee PC SDK . This will allow open source and open content communities to bring software and content to the Eee PC in ways that are easy to develop, easy to port, and easy to release.

Ellis Wang was the Special Assistant of Strategic Planning and Operation Division of AOOP Business Group for ASUSTek Computer Inc. And now he is the Eee PC Software PM group director of AOOP Business Group.
He was with the Inventec Multimedia and Telecom Corp, Intel, and ITRI, with assignments in software designing and re-engineering, products planning, and products management. He has over thirteen years of diversified IP telecommunication & multi-media consumer product design experience, including IP convergence network planning and management, as well as PC Centrex-based service deployment. Those works focus on audio, video, and image content processing, and entertainment services for the consumers.
Recently, he is responsible for Eee PC ecosystems enabling which includes seamless integration of Linux open source applications with open contents. That will create a new Eee experience on the three Es: Easy to learn, work, and play; that is, Excellent Internet experience and Excellent on-the-Go.
