Tyng-Ruey Chuang is an associate research fellow and a deputy director at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. His research areas include functional programming, programming languages and systems, XML and Web technologies, and social implications of information technologies. He leads the open geospatial information team at the institute, is the project lead of Creative Commons Taiwan, and participates in project OSSF ("OSSF Supports Software Freedom").

Jessica Coates is the Project Manager of the Creative Commons Clinic, a program of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Innovation at Queensland University of Technology. The Clinic aims to further the implementation of the international open content licensing movement, Creative Commons, through the promotion of Creative Commons research and usage in Australia.
